ABSTRACT Motivation to Final Students of Faculty of Nursing in Continuing Education of Nursing Profession at Adventist University of Indonesia Christine Sarah Purwaningrum NIM: 1351048 This study attempts to the exploration experience of nursing students at Adventist University of Indonesia to continue their practical in profession ners in in Health Science of Adventist University of Indonesia by year 2017. This study used the quantitative approach descriptive. The number of partisipant in this study was seventy seven people who accaptenced as a participants, taken by using total sampling. The results of a preliminary study that three out of ten students are not motivated to get a derivative of nursing. The results of questionnaire were analysed by using percentage method. The results of the questionnaire obtained the identification problem such as 1) What types of motivation affect the final grade students of nursing faculty in continuing education of the nursing profession, 2) What is the biggest motivation of nursing faculty students about nursing profession education the influence of social support. The phenomenon of students who want to continue the education program at Advent Indonesia University is currently in great demand because the government has obliged the graduate students of nursing graduate to get a professional education program so that the graduate students of nursing graduate can become a professional nurse in the future. Suggestions for nursing research results of this study are expected to motivate nurse students to get nursing profession education, advice to nursing practice Research results can improve the motivation of employees or students to get nursing profession education.
