ABSTRAC LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE IN NURSING STUDENTS AT THIRD LEVEL IN BACHELOR PROGRAM ABOUT BASIC LIFE SUPPORT BASED ON THE DATA OF DEMOGRAPHIES AT INDONESIA ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY Royinda Sihotang NIM: 1251031 This study is based on the poor of knowledge about Basic Life Support in nursing students, which could effect in nursing services especially in emergecy cases. The aim of this study was to obtain the descriptive of knowledge about Basic Life Support in nursing students. The study design used descriptive quantitative analytic using correlational design, with convenience sampling of 52 nursing students at third level in bachelor program at Indonesia Adventist University. Data collected using questionnaire with 21 item of questions, and analyzed using percetage and chi-square. Overall, knowledge of nursing students based on the percentage calculation is 70%, and through the program of Statistical Package for Social Sience ( SPSS ) 17 version was obtained significancy value above of 0,000 (p-value>α). The result showed that the nursing students at third level in bachelor program at Indonesia Adventist University had rahter than enough knowledge about basic life support, and significancy value showed that that the data of demographies with knowledge of Basic Life Support were not having relationship with significantly.
