ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF WORK ENVIRONMENT AND COMPENSATION ON TEACHERS AND STAFF PERFORMANCE IN DKI JAKARTA ADVENT SCHOOL By Noviana Notty This study aims to determine how the work environment, compensation and performance of teachers and staff in DKI Jakarta Adventist school. This study also aims to determine the influence of work environment and compensation on the performance of teachers and staff in DKI Jakarta Adventist school both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using sample 65 respondents. The measurement used is descriptive measurement and analysis using correlation, coefficient of determination, significance test using SPSS version 24. The results of this study show that working environment of the teacher and staff is adequate and conducive, compensation and the performance of teacher and staff in DKI Jakarta Adventist school get good score. The influence of the work environment on performance is 34.0% and other factors 56,0%, compensation has an effect of 70.0% on the performance of teachers and staff while 30.0% is influenced by other factors, work environment and compensation simultaneously affect to the performance of 34.9% and 65.1% is influenced by other factors outside of this study. The effect is significant at α 0.05. Keywords: Work Environment, Compensation, Performance
