ABSTRACT THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ADMINISTERING THERAPEUTIC WATER GINGER AND TURMERIC WATER THERAPY AGAINST DYSMENORRHEA IN GIRLS DORMITORY AT ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA MEI YULI SITUNGKIR NIM: 1551041 This research was conducted to find out the effectiveness of administering red ginger drink of water therapy and turmeric water therapy with dysmenorrhea pain at students in girls dormitory of Adventist University of Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive method. Subject research totalling 30 people i.e. 15 people on the Group drinking water therapy red ginger and 15 people on the water therapeutic group of turmeric. The instrument used to measure pain before intervention is a Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Measurement of pain after intervention using guidelines interview dysmenorrhea. The calculation formula is calculated using percentage data. The results of the calculation of the percentage obtained that the effectiveness of water therapy and red ginger turmeric water therapy against dysmenorrhea after one hour the awarding of the first therapy was 0%. The effectiveness of water therapy red ginger and turmeric water therapy against dysmenorrhea after one hour of granting a second therapy was 33%.
