ABSTRACK KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDES OFELEMENTARY SCHOOL 1-6 ABOUT THE CORRECT DUMP IN PARONGPONG ADVENTIST ELEMENTARYSCHOOL WEST BANDUNG Written by: Advent simangunsong Nim:1551051 This event will be based on research with the garbage problem has yet to be resolved both outside the country as well as within the country. As for the purpose of this research is to know the description of the knowledge and attitudes of school children grade elementary 1-6 about the correct dump in West Bandung Parongpong Adventist elementary school. Types of quantitative research which are descriptive and used a total of sampling that is as much as 119 respondents with criteria for men and women by age 6-12 years, were available when researchers gather data and participate in volunteering in this research.Instruments used to measure knowledge consisted of 9 rounds of questions with multiple choice type and to measure the attitudes of school children made up of 5 grains of statement and to measure behavior consists of 6 statement that has already been validated .Date processing is carried out using spss deskriptip analysis. The results showed that school children's knowledge about the correct dump is more than enough or of 68.84% whereas the attitudes of school children in the dump is to agree with categories of 4.16%.Spearman test results showed no significant relationship (p 0.05 > bacause with 0,214 interpretation is very weak. Conclusion: an overview of the knowledge and attitudes of school children class 1-6 elementary school has a category is more than enough suggestions: next to evaluate Research methods are effective in promoting how to dispose of garbage properly and investigate factors the cause.
