ABSTRACT EFFECT OF SLEEP QUALITY ON REMEMBERING POWER ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY STUDENTS INDONESIA Written by: DeswanSevfryBarus NIM: 1451018 Sleep quality possessed by students can affect daily activities including learning activities. This study discusses the relationship of the quality of sleep to the memory of Adventist University students in Indonesia. The design carried out in this study is a quassey experiment, as well as a method to test used by testing using spearman's rho. The sample is 32 students. The technique used is purposive sampling. Respondents filled out questionnaires in the form of demographic data, 18 Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questions, and a Digit Spand Test. This study was analyzed using a correlation test. Based on the results of the analysis where p value (0.543)> alpha (0.05), where the correlation in this study has a negative direction relationship. Where the quality of sleep is good, the smaller the score possessed and the memory is very high if the score is higher. From this, it can be concluded that the quality of sleep can affect memory. For further researchers to specify more research topics such as the quality of sleep towards participation in the learning process in the classroom, and using total sampling data so that the picture of events in the population appears.
