ABSTRACT THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE WITH THE ANXIETY FEVER IN CHILDREN UNDER AGE 5 YEARS BEING PATIENTS AT ADVENTIST HOSPITAL BANDUNG Arranged by: AYUNI MEDI 1451016 Fever is a condition of body temperature above normal due to an increase in the temperature control center in the hypothalamus. This increase in temperature will have a negative impact on children and can even lead to seizures and decreased awareness in children. The impact of anxiety on parents or mothers on childhood fever often makes irrational or inappropriate decisions when anxiety arises, so it is not effective in providing appropriate care for children who have fever. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and maternal anxiety levels towards children with fever. The research design used in this study was a survey. The target population in this study were mothers who had fever children who were hospitalized. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling with a sample of 32 people. The study sample was mothers with fever children under the age of 5 years, during the 4 weeks of the study. The method used in this study is quantitative and descriptive. The results of this study are that there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and level of maternal anxiety which means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. In conclusion, from the results of this study, the level of knowledge averaged 78.32% with good categories, the level of anxiety averaged 49.68% with a low category, and there was no significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of anxiety of the mother.
