ABSTRACT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WATCHING INTENSITY AND THE QUALITY OF SLEEP FOR FEMALE STUDENTS INSIDE THE INDONESIAN ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY Arranged by: SENDRA YANI NOTTY 1551002 This research was motivated by a study conducted by Lisiswati and Istiqomah which said that the effect of exposure from a computer screen or screening time ≥ 2 hours shortened sleep duration and thus disturbed the quality of individual sleep. The general objective of this study was to see whether or not the influence of the intensity of the watch on the quality of sleep in female students inside Advent University of Indonesia. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method with cross sectionali approach. The population used is student inside the Adventist University of Indonesia. The sample in this study amounted to 53 people selected by total sampling. The instrument used was the watch intensity questionnaire and PSQI questionnaire. The results showed that there was an effect of the intensity of the watch on the quality of sleep by students inside Advent Indonesia University with a significance value of 4.230 <1.96 which means that Ha research was accepted and Ho research was rejected. Advice for the field of nursing: as input for health education for the community. The head of the dormitory and the student inside to be able to control and use time properly. Field of research: as material to be developed in further research regarding the effect of watching intensity for male students. Keywords: Intensity of Watching, Sleep Quality, Female Student Inside
