ABSTRACT NURSING CARE WITH THE ADMINISTRATION TECHNIQUES OF BREATHING IN COUGH HANDLING IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELITUS PATIENTS IN BANDUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL Arranged by: YETRO SINAMBELA NIM: 1652038 This Scientific Writing is motivated by data obtained from the Ministry of Health, the number of diabetic patients in hospitals is taken first position of all endocrine diseases. Diabetes mellitus is a degenerative disease that originates from year to year increasing and causing various complications. According to the World Health Organization, people with diabetes mellitus are most prevalent in developing countries, one of which is Indonesia. The purpose of this Scientific Writing can provide health care nursing care with type 2 diabetes mellitus by administering non-pharmacological therapy. The method used is descriptive method by collecting data through observation, interviews, documentation, literature, and electronic media studies. After carrying out nursing care for patients with Diabetes Mellitus three nursing diagnoses appeared, namely: Ineffectiveness of road cleaning associated with the inability of clients to issue secretions, Fever, and Fatigue. At a temperature of 38.3º C and poor skin turgor, a hematological examination is performed. After doing treatment for three days, of the three diagnoses there were two diagnoses that were resolved and one diagnosis that was not resolved. The diagnosis that is resolved is the ineffectiveness of road cleaning related to the inability of the patient to issue secretions, hypothermia and. Diagnosis that is not resolved is fatigue. Suggestions that can be written so that nurses can conduct studies and then formulate nursing diagnoses, the need for nurses who support nursing actions in accordance with agreed plans and provide patient care as much as possible and nurses who provide results of nursing research that has been given.
