ABSTRACT NURSING INTERVENTION TO MRS.S WITH RESPIRATORY SYSTEM DISORDER: PNEUMONIA IN NORTH WING V BANDUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL WRITTEN BY : ZIBORA SEFTI NIM: 1552042 This Scientific paper is backgrounded by the prevalence of pneumonia that increased in elder age. In indonesia, the incidence of pneumonia in the elderly is 15.5%, especially in West Java Province, the incidence of pneumonia is higher 3% above the national figure. The purpose of this scientific paper can apply nursing care to Mrs. S with pneumonia, using holistic care approach. The method used is descriptive method by gathering data through observation, interview, documentation, bibliography, and electronic media study. After doing the nursing care on Mrs.S diagnosed with pneumonia, four nursing diagnoses were prepared: airway clearence, activity intolerance, nutritional imbalance, and pain associated with inflammation. At the assessment stage found the patient shortness of breath, cough, nause and vomiting and performed examination WBC, CBC and X-ray examination. After the author perfomed treatment for three days out of two diagnoses there were 3 resolved diagnoses and 1 unresolved diagnoses. Diagnosis resolved is : nutrition is less than the need, activity intolerance and chest pain and diagnosis that is not resolved is airway clearence. The authors hope this scientific paper can be an input in providing nursing care to patient with respiratory disorders: pneumonia so as to increase knowledge to prevent unwanted things and risk of causing death.
