ABSTRACT NURSING CARE TO MR. A WITH MUSCULOSCELETAL SYSTEM: FRAKTUR FEMUR DEXTRA POST ORIF IN TREATMENT ROOM FLOOR 3 BANDUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL Disusun Oleh: Matthew Raynato Mordechai Sinaga Nim: 1552038 At the present time this traffic accident is still the cause of death is quite high in the world, one result of the most frequent traffic accidents is femur fracture. World Health Organization (WHO), noted that in 2011-2012 there were 5.6 million people died and 1.3 million people suffered fractures due to traffic accidents. Mahyudin (2010), said that the most common fracture is a fracture of lower ekstermitas. According to DEPKES RI (2011), of the many cases of fractures in Indonesia, fractures in the lower limb due to accidents have the highest prevalence among other fractures that is about 46.2%. Of the 45,987 people with cases of lower limb fractures due to accidents, 19,629 people had fractures of the femur. The purpose of this paper to provide comprehensive nursing care includes the bio-psycho-social-spiritual aspect based on nursing science and the skills science of nursing management in patients suffering from femoral fractures with the nursing process. Writing method used is descriptive method. Techniques in data collection through observation techniques, interviews, library studies, active participation, study documentation. The cause of the fracture is trauma divided into 3, among others: direct trauma, indirect trauma and minor trauma. After performing the treatment process directly to the patient, the authors found several problems: discomfort: pain, infection risk, self-care deficit s / d physical limitations, anxiety, breaking pattern disorder. After the authors perform the treatment process in patients, there are several diagnoses that are resolved and some are not resolved. Nursing care that is resolved is the risk of infection, anxiety, and break interruption, while the unresolved are pain, and self-care deficit. Keywords: Fracture of Femur, POST ORIF, traffic accident
