ABSTRACT NURSING CARE IN MR. Y: PRE CHOLELITHIASIS WITH THE INTERVENTION OF DEEP BREATHING EXERCISE TO OVERCOME PAIN IN SOUTH WING III RUMAH SAKIT ADVENT BANDUNG Arranged by: AGUSTINA SIMBOLON 1652017 This scientific paper is motivated by a lifestyle that is one of the factors that determine a person's health status. An increasingly modern Indonesian society causes people to practice unhealthy habits by eating fast food and instant or high in calories and fat. Lifestyle is a factor that causes cholelithiasis. Some predisposing factors that cause gallstones are metabolic disorders caused by changes in the bile arrangement and infections that occur in the gallbladder and excessive cholesterol that settles in the gallbladder. Low-fat diets limit cholesterol intake, so that hypersatu constellation of bile does not occur which will lead to the formation of gallstones. What are the patients who experience disease, therapy given to patients is a technique that can be done to reduce pain is by means of DBE (Deep Breathing Exercise) that can be done by patients independently. Nurses can teach patients with DBE techniques that is well. Conclusion that the writer can do in giving nursing care to Mr. Y with kolelitiasis is the need for treatment to reduce pain that is felt by patients. Patients and families have been taught Deep Breathing Exercise and patients and families can do it well. Suggestions made by the authors to the nursing field of this paper are expected to be able to apply Deep Breathing Exercise to other patients, and to patients and families to do healthy living and consume foods that are low in fat and nutritious.
