ABSTRACT NURSING CARE ON MR.M WITH RESPIRATORY SYSTEM DISORDERS: BRONCHIALE ASTHMA IN PATIENT ROOM VI ADVENTIST HOSPITAL BANDUNG. Arranged by: Arnold Hasudungan NIM: 1552015 This scientific paper in the background by the national prevalence of asthma in Indonesia which is one of the top 10 diseases that cause illness and death in the world. In west java the prevalence of asthma for all age groups reached 5%. The purpose of this scientific paper in order to apply nursing care gerontik on Tn.M with asthma, using a holistic care approach. The method used is descriptive method of literature, and study of electronic media. After doing gerontic nursing care on Mr. M with asthma, compiled four diagnoses, namely: ineffectiveness of airway clearance, high risk of ineffective breathing patterns, impaired nutrition fulfillment less than body needs, disruption of Activity Daily Living (ADL) pattern. After three days of nursing care there were two resolved diagnoses and two unresolved diagnoses. The resolved diagnoses are a disruption of the Activity Daily Living (ADL) pattern. The unresolved diagnosis is the ineffectiveness of airway breathing, and a high risk of ineffectiveness of the breathing pattern. Suggestions that the author can give to the nurse is to increase knowledge in providing nursing care in order to prevent the occurrence of various things that are not desirable and at risk for people with bronchial asthma.
