ABSTRACT ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA Ny. L DENGAN GANGGUAN SISTEM HEMATOLOGI: DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER DI KLINIK UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA MARLISIA SABUIN Nim: 1152046 This paper is motivated by the increasing cases of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever in every year in West Java, especially in Indonesian Adventist University Clinic. The purpose of writing this paper is to provide overview of the implementation of nursing care to clients with DHF and apply the knowledge that the writers get in education to be implemented through the nursing process by using descriptive method. DHF is a disease caused by the dengue virus belonging Arbovirus and enter the body through the bite of aedes aegpti mosquito. After assessment to the patient, the author get that the patient is in 38,9⁰c fever, no appetite, and patients had complain of headaches. High fever, headache, ulcers, bleeding, liver enlargement, and a shock like the one on the theory and obtained in patients. The problem that the the writer found in patients are: diagnosis 1, hyperthermia characterized by fever and headache. With an approach that the authors give by applying warm compresses and advise patients to drink water 2,5 liters/24h. Second diagnosis, the risk of bleeding, with an approach that the authors give is through monitor vital signs, monitor the signs and symptoms of spontaneous or excessive bleeding. Gaps found in this paper is that not all signs and symptoms appear in a patient equals to the theory of DHF and some investigations are not done as a tourniquet test and examination of peripheral blood. The conclusions obtained are in the stage of implementation, assessment, planning, implementation, and an evaluation needs good cooperation between the patient, family members, doctors, nurses and other medical teams to succeed the data collection process and the process of nursing care.
