ABSTRACT RELATED MOTHERS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT FOOD NUTRITIOUS WITH TODDLERS NUTRITIONAL STATUS IN RW 02 JATIASIH SOUTH BEKASI EZTER ZULYANA TONGARI NIM: 1351072 Malnutrition in indonesia is as yet high, this matter can disrupt the growth of physically and terms of intellectual (IQ) affects less achievement in the school. Research’s purpose is to obtain the relationship mothers knowledge about nutritious foods with nutritional status of toddler. Methods research is descriptive correlation method. Population is mother have toddler, with her toddler. The sampling is purposive sampling, 294 mothers along with toddler with the same amount.. The instrument to see the mother's knowledge with a questionnaire comprising 24 questions dan the nutritional status of toddler is measuring by weight scale and ruler or meter height. Result showed that mothers knowledge about food nutritious is pretty good. Toddlers nutritional status according to weight/age is good amounted 252 toddlers, height/age is good amounted 170 toddlers, and weight/height is good amounted 211 toddlers. The conclusion is mothers knowledge about food nutritious have very weak related with toddlers nutritional status according to weight/ age, mothers knowledge about food nutritious have weak related with toddlers nutritional status according to height / age and mothers knowledge about food nutritious have not related with toddlers nutritional status according to weight/ height. Advice can be given is for the leadership of Posyandu as input to maintain the mother’s knowledge about nutritious food, and counseling for mothers who lack in knowledge about nutrition so that it can improve the nutritional status of toddler to be better. Suggestions for areas of research is the study are expected to be used and developed in future studies such as researching mothers’ knowledge of food processing and others.
