ABSTRACT TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN PARA IBU TENTANG PENCEGAHAN DIARE PADA BAYI BERUSIA 0-12 BULAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENYULUHAN DI PUSKESMMAS PAROMPONG OlEH: Eveline Christiani Research it is based on observations of writer that many women who took her baby at Puskesmas Parongpong. Diarrhea had the number one most as cause of death as 8-12 months as many (31,4%) and toddlers was 12-14 months as many (25,2%). The purpose of this research was to give a picture of gaze about how the knowledge the mommy about prevention diarrhea as 0-12 month before and after counseling held in Puskesmas Parongpong. Sample used in this research is as many 30 people women who took her baby was 0-12 months to Puskesmas Parongpong, which were selected purposively sampling. Methods used is PraEksperimen with an instrument shaped test multiple choices consisting of 13 questions previously done content validity. The research results show that the knowledge the mommy about prevention diarrhea as 0-12 months in Puskesmas Parongpong before counseling in very low. The knowledge the mommy about prevention diarrhea as 0-12 months after counseling is high. The difference in the knowledge mommy about prevention diarrhea as 0-12 month before and after counseling held in Puskesmas Parongpong. Suggestions for Parents the result of this research expected can be used as the information that can be spared of diarrhea. For the Puskesmas Head, Nurses and Health Workers the result of this research it is hoped that can be used as the input to increase knowledge about prevention diarrhea. For basic further research is expected to continue research methodology and can useful a baseline in the future research.
