PENGARUH GEL DAUN CINCAU (PREMNA SERRATIFOLIA L. ATAU PREMNA INTEGRITIFOLIA L.) YANG DIKONSUMSIKAN SESUDAH ASUPAN GLUKOSA TERHADAP KADAR GULA DARAH POSTPRANDIAL MAHASISWA DI UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA BANDUNG
XMLABSTRACT Postprandial glucose is one of the test on blood glucose from the person that already take meal. The chlorophyll in (Premna serratifolia L. or Premna integritifolia L.)has pectin include saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid and magnesium which function to increase insulin sensitivity, repair the broken cell, produce energy and oxygen in metabolism. The purpose of this experiment is to know how far the changing postprandial blood glucose value after consuming gel from the green cincau’ leaves (Premna serratifolia L. or Premna integritifolia L.) This research is an experimental which sample came from 30 health male student (n=30). The blood glucose was checked with Glucose meter Accu Check Performa. All data was analyzed by Paired t- Test and Oneway Anova. The outcome of the research show the value of postprandial glucose on the 30 point minute sample has significantly decreased which is p=0.01, and it means p≤α (α =0.05). From 60, 90 and 120 minutes has significantly decreased p=0.000,p≤α (α=0.001). The conclusion from this research is the gel leave of green cincau ((Premna serratifolia L. or Premna integritifolia L.)) is able to decrease the value of postprandial glucose .
