ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF IMPLEMENTATION GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ON FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE IN PT. TELEKOMUNIKASI INDONESIA, TBK. By: Nursyahaya Bulan Simanungkalit This study aimed to determine the application of good corporate governance and financial performance and also determined the effect of good corporate governance on financial performance at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Research conducted descriptive method, by collecting primary data by using a questionnaire consisting of 30 statements to the implementation of good corporate governance and 13 statements for financial performance. Questionnaire data obtained was processed using statistics Rank Spearman and processed using SPSS 16. Based on the research results obtained then the correlation coefficient r = 0.656 which shown that good corporate governance had a strong relationship to financial performance. Significant Test results showen Test results showen amounted to 3.788 and the significance of the α = 0.05. The coefficient of determination r 2 = 0.430 which shown that the contribution of variable X (implementation of good corporate governance) against the variable Y (financial performance) and the remaining 57% were influenced by other factors. Results obtained by linear regression of Y = 21.449 + 0,292X that shown the positive influence the implementation of good corporate governance on financial performance.
