PENGARUH HARGA JUAL TERHADAP VOLUME PENJUALAN PADA HYPERMART BIP BANDUNG

ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF SALE PRICE ON SALES VOLUME IN HYPERMART BIP, BANDUNG By: Samuel Jonathan In order to win the business competition which is getting more difficult, every company should be able to set the selling price of a product correctly, these circumstances push the company to set a selling price that can be an advantage for the company and achieve the targeted sales volume. The purpose of this research is to know the selling price of liquid A, B, C soap in 2013, the sales volume of liquid soap A, B, C in 2013 and to determine the effect of the sale price to sales volume at Hypermart BIP Bandung. The research method in this paper is the descriptive method, the data processing techniques used statistical analysis, regression analysis, analysis of pearson product moment correlation coefficient, t hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination. The data used is the retail price and sales volume in 2013 in the form of a monthly report. Based on the results of the regression analysis Y = a + bx, Y = 691.81 - 0.029x, for product B, Y = 258.08 - 0.013x, for product C, Y = 133.46 - 0.005 x, and the correlation coefficient of product A, (r) = -0.55, B, (r) = -0.86, C, (r) = -0.33. Then the hypothesis test for product A shows that tcount < ttable is -2.0801 <2.2281, for product B shows that tcount < ttable is -5.4197 <2.2281, for product C showed tcount < ttable is -1.1087 <2, 2281 that this shows Ha rejected. Based on a determination coefficient that is equal to 0.3025 or 30.25% and the remaining 69.75% influenced by other factors outside of this research. Product B at 0.7396 or 73.96% and the remaining 26.04% influenced by other factors outside of this research. Product C of 0.1089 or 10.89% and the remaining 89.06% influenced by other factors outside of this research. From the research found that the sale price does not affect the sales volume of liquid bath soap products A, B, C at Hypermart BIP, Bandung. Keywords : Selling price, sales volume, product.
