“NURSING CARE TO Ms. Y WITH SKIZOFRENIA: SIGHT HALLUCINATION IN GELATIK ROOM OF PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL OF WEST JAVA PROVINCE” ERINTAN PURBA 1352016 The background of this paper research is because Schizophrenia could happen to anybody. Schizophrenia patients are often described as stupid individuals, weird, and dangerous. Many patients of Schizophrenia are not be brought to see the doctor but hidden. Mental distractions will also affect the physical health, social and economic of the community. Whereas the Schizophrenia patients who repeatedly relapsed and continued chronic and even years, that’s why a rehabilitation program is required apart from therapy program. The purpose of this paper research is to find out a nursing care to the Schizophrenia patients: sight hallucination in a comprehensively manner through nursing process approach. After doing this nursing care for four days, it is expected that this sight hallucination could be controlled in a way of rebuke the patient, having a conversation with others, doing of daily activities, and take medicine in the right way. However, the goal that is not achieved is when this nursing care are given, the family is not there. In conclusion, the family was expected to work together with medical teams to hasten the patient's recovery. Suggestion, patients are expected to follow the treatment that has been planned by doctors and nurses, to cure the patient and give support to the patient for healing.
