PERILAKU PENGGUNAAN KOSMETIK WANITA PESERTA SENAM DI DESA KARYAWANGI KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT

ABSTRACT COSMETIC USE OF CONDUCT GYMNASTICS WOMAN PARTICIPANTS IN THE VILLAGE KARYAWANGI DISTRICT WEST BANDUNG Name : Debie Sabatty Edo NIM : 1151069 This research was motivated by the first research of Slameth (2006), which proved that there are impact of using cosmetic in woman to the skin. The purpose of this research is to know the behavior of the woman who participane in gymnastics in using cosmetics. The method used in this research is descriptive comparative method. The population in this study are woman who participate in gymnastics of Desa Karyawangi West Bandung. Samples this study were 30 woman and selected by ordinal approach. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Resuet of this study reveals that 67% of them use cosmetic as make-up 50% claimed that cosmetic is used every day 100% of them did not use any cosmetic at nigth. There is a difference in the selection and the use of cosmetics, as well as the positive and negative effects on the skin. The positive effect for the skin is that it looks more whiter and smooth with no visible black stain while the negative effects it may cause irritation to the skin, inflammation of the skin and exfoliate skin. The advice based on the result of this study are given to the woman who participate in gymnastic in the village Karyawangi, the field of nursing and research fields as reference to be developed for the future research about the use of cosmetics on skin health.
