ABSTRACT NURSING CARE IN Tn.A WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA: AUDITORY HALLUCINATIONS IN PERKUTUT ROOM PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL WEST JAVA PROVINCE Jacub George Siregar NIM: 1352002 Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by the presence of a very basic divergence and the difference of the mind, accompanied by their expression of emotion that is not fair. The prevalence of schizophrenia patients in Indonesia is 0,3% to 1%, and usually occurs around the age of 18 to 45 years, but some are as young as 11 to 12 years had suffered schizophrenia. Patients with schizophrenia who are late for treatment is likely to be "immune" to the drugs, using drugs with high doses and the longer treatment in hospital. The purpose of this paper is able to perform nursing care to schizophrenia clients. The method was the method description. Schizophrenia is a change of thought, emotion, and behavior that causes people to think irrationally, and deterioration of the function of self. In this case complaints from clients were same as the theory. The given care to clients included nutrition care, group activity therapy, and drug delivery. The author experienced obstacles in planning this nursing care that lack of journal and support and cannot be validated with the family interventions made to the client, because the client's family was not encountered during treatment. In this case found that nursing diagnoses: impaired sensory perception: auditory hallucinations. The author in this case taught how to control hallucinations and encouraged to take medication regularly. To improve service to clients with schizophrenia, needed the relationship of trust between clients and nurses as well as the availability of literature, or the latest book is very helpful in the preparation and implementation of nursing care.
