ABSTRACT ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA AN.”A” DENGAN GANGGUAN SISTEM PENCERNAAN DEMAM TIFOID DI RUANG ANAK KLINIK UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA Debora Christina Boru Nainggolan NIM: 1152043 In the process of writing, author took a background of total typhoid fever case Indonesia there is mean of 900.000 cases per year with over 20.000 deaths. In Indonesia, people aged 3-19 years accounted for 91% of cases typhoid fever and the attack rate of blood-culture-positive typhoid fever was 1026 per 100.000 per year (WHO 2015). According to data of Dinas Kesehatan Indonesia (DinKes Indonesia) 2015 the numbers of typhoid fever have decrease in past three years. On 2015 there are 40.081 cases typhoid with 267 death cases. According to data of Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RisKesDas) 2015, the typhoid fever cases in Bandung, Jawa Barat also have decrease become 879 cases with 56 death cases. The goal of this writing is to get real experience in giving nursing application to ch. A with typhoid fever. In writing process, author used some methods, interview, observation, study book, documentation and active participation in applying nursing application to the client. In ch. A case, there is main health complain is fever for 4 days, the fever came in evening to night. When author assessed ch. A, ch. A came in weak condition, dry lips and pale face bacuse ch. A had not good appetite for 4 days. There is a difference that not all the complication, sign and symptom was found in real case. The author took conclusion that hygiene foods are really give effect to human’s health. And nonhygiene food may become the main factor of typhoid fever. Key Word: Typhoid Fever, Salmonella Typhii
