ABSTRACT THE VIEW OF NURSES OF ADVENTIST HOSPITAL BANDUNG ABOUT WORSHIP ON THE SABBAT BASED ON LUKE 4:16 Maria Enny Lolyta Gurning NIM: 1111023 The writing of this mini thesis done by investigating the view of Nurses of Adventist Hospital Bandung about worship on the Sabbath. The researchers focusing the research by surving 30 nurses. With the purpose to see their understanding about the theology of Sabbath, what things should we do on the Sabbath day, and the importance of worship on the Sabbath day. Through the research of literature discussed above three indicators, namely: the Theology of Sabbath explained that the Sabbath was a rest day, bless, sanctify and also as a sign to remember about the Creation, Redemption and Sanctification. The second indicators is about the things that we should do on the Sabbath day were worship (gathered in prayer) and service to fellow human being. The third indicators is worship on Sabbath is really important because Jesus also gave an example to his disciples and humanity. From the results of the study through questionnaires distributed, the researchers obtained the following data: 1. For the questionnaire which the indicator about theology about Sabbath the view of the nurses for all statements was very good. 2. For the questionnaire which the indicator about things that we should do on Sabbath day, there were two opinions such as positive and negative. The opinion of nurses about the positive opinion is very good. While for the statements Y10 and Y16 that has negative opinion was not good. 3. For the questionnaire which the indicator about the importanre to worship on Sabbath day the views of nurses about the statement was very good. Therefore the view of nurses for all the statements that have been answered by 30 was very good, their respon was strongly agree. There were two doubtful statements of the nurses’s view, namely: (1) His people was robbing God when making themselves not able to worship him on Sabbath day. Do not spend the Sabbath day just lying in bedroom. (2) innecessary job like the ordinary care and the operation that can postponed, it should be postponed. Let the patients understand that the doctors and nurses should have one day to worship. The results of this study the researcher concludes that the nurses who are Adventists in Adventist Hospital Bandung has a good understanding comprehansion about worship on the Sabbath.
