ABSTRACT EFFECT OF PROFITABILITY RATIO TO STOCK PRICE IN PT. ULTRAJAYA MILK INDUSTRY & TRADING COMPANY, Tbk. Mely Cristina Siringoringo NIM: 1132140 This research was conducted with the aim to test the influence of the profitability ratios include the Net Profit Margin and Return On Assets simultaneously or partially against the stock price on a PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company, Tbk. Research was carried out using descriptive method and use secondary data. As for the variables in this study, namely: the dependent variable as share price and NPM and ROA as the independent variable. The sample used in this penelitiaan is a list of stock quotes and financial statements during the period 2009-2013 so that the number of samples processed is 5 years. This research uses acorrelation coefficient of nalisis and obtained the result r = 0,849, meaning that there is a very strong relationship between NPM and the ROA against the stock price. Determination of the Coefficient indicates that the magnitude of the contribution to the Net Profit Margin and Return ON Assets of the stock price of 72.1% and 27,9% the rest is due to factors other than this research, a multiple linear regesi nalisis Y = 4011,783 -2486, 830X1 +2006, 378X2 means when NPM is 0, then the stock price = Rp40,11. When NPM remains, ROA of 1%, the share price dropped by Rp24,86 and if the NPM continued to rise 1% ROA then stock prices rise Rp20,06. With test of significance Fcount < Ftabel (2,578 < 19.00) then accepted and Ha Ho is rejected, meaning that there is no significant influence between the NPM and the ROA to the stock price. Thus it can be concluded that the Net Profit Margin and Return On Assets simultaneously does not influence significantly to the stock price, while partially NPM and ROA have influence but not significantly to price shares in PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company, Tbk Keywords: NPM, ROA, Stock Price
