ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF INFLATION AND INTEREST RATES BANK OF INDONESIA ON THE PERFORMANCE OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS PT. BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA, TBK By: Yossie Rindengan The research was aimed to determine the effect of inflation and interest rates of Bank of Indonesia on the performance of the financial statements PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk. The research was done using quantitative method, the data was processed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Ver 21.0 for Windows with multiple linear regression analysis method. This research was conducted based on financial ratios of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk for a period of 5 years (2009-2013), with the dependent variable that is performance of the financial statements based on the ratio of profitability Return On Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and the independent variable that is inflation rate and interest rate Bank Indonesia. Based on the results of the linear regression analysis, inflation and interest rate of Bank Indonesia influence the financial performance PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk specifically profitability ratios. From the analysis that has been done can be concluded that inflation and interest rates of Bank Indonesia have an influence on ROA with regression coefficient respectively 0.072 and (-0903) and the significant value of 0.466 and 0.144. Inflation and interest rates are also influence the ROE with regression coefficient respectively (-0.222) and (-2.158) and the significant value of 0.880 and 0.760. Inflation and interest rates of Bank Indonesia also affect the NIM with regression coefficient 0.080 and 0.689 and the significance value of 0.800 and 0.652.
