ABSTRACK KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND MATURE BEHAVIOR TOWARD THE BSE AT THE PUSKESMAS OF PARONGPONG DISTRICT OF BANDUNG BARAT REGENCY HERLA SANTI Nim: 1451052 BSE is a way to have an early detection to prevent the occurrence of breast cancer that will be more effective when it is done as early as possible when a woman reaches the reproductive age ( Suryaningsih, 2009 in Puspits 2016). The purpose of this study is to examine the level of knowledge, attitudes and wowan behavior at Cihanjuang Village toward the breast self-test (BSE) on the nursing approach about an early prevention risk of the breast cancer. The method used in this research is descriptive correlation method. The population was all productive women at the Cihanjuang Village that join the gymnastic. The sample used for this study was 87 respondents with accidental sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire containing 29 questions, 13 attitudinal statement toward the BSE and 16 knowledge and behavior questions about the BSE. The results shows that the knowledge of breast self-test as an early detection of breast cancer is still poor. The result of the indicates that there is a correlation between the knowledge toward the woman attitude about BSE with the value of p (0,024)<0.05, hence hypothesis of Ho was rejected while Ha was accepted.
