PENGETAHUAN MAHASISWA OUTSIDER SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENYULUHAN TENTANG SEKS BEBAS DI UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

ABSTRACT KNOWLEDGE OF OUTSIDER STUDENTS BEFORE AND AFTER THE COUNSELING ABOUT FREE SEX IN ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIAN Ryan Bruner Tambunan NIM : 1451069 Free sex behavior in the era of globalization is a problem that can be found in every circle. Lack of understanding about free sex causes the need for a deeper understanding such as the infection of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Students are the most vulnerable groups with the danger of sex, and one of the provision of information about sex and its impact is by way of counseling. This study identifies differences in the value of knowledge before and after counseling about education and the dangers of free sex in order to know the description of knowledge, and the scope is the Outsider Students of Advent Indonesia University. The research is using quantitative method with 63 Outsider Students of Advent University of Indonesia as the sample. The research was conducted with three stages of testing. Those stages are to test the pre-counseling knowledge, giving counseling and post-counseling knowledge. The results of this research indicate the grade of pre-counseling knowledge is 36.4 which is categorized as almost knowledgeable enough with the symbol C-, and the grade of post-counseling knowledge is 55.46 which is categorized well knowledgeable with symbol B +. The t-values is 20,936 while the t-table is 1670, when values compared, 20,936 > 1670 which means that there is difference of value between pre and post counseling. The conclusion of this research is there is a significant difference of knowledge about free sex, pre and post health counseling at Advent University of Indonesia. The suggestion from the result of this research is students are advised to follow the counseling associated with free sex so that with the development of knowledge it is expected that students can keep themselves and be a source of knowledge for the laity.
