ABSTRACT AN OVERVIEW OF THE INCIDENCE OF BULLYING IN THE BOYS DORMITORY IN ADVENTIST UNIVERSITY OF INDONESIA Robinson Okran Tana NIM: 1451078 This event will be based on research by the results of a survey which found that bullying behavior is increasing around the world including in Indonesia. Bullying behavior that the higher it's become a serious problem for an individual who becomes a victim of bullying in his survival, because bullying can harm the mental health of the individual itself. This research was conducted to look at the description of the behavior of bullying on boys dormitory at the Adventist University of Indonesia, West Bandung. This research using quantitative research design. The sample used in this study is the Daniel and Samuel boys dormitory in Indonesia Adventist University of 167 people selected based on total sampling. The instruments used are the now which consists of 4 components with 30 questions with a choice answers never, seldom, often and always. Results of the study showed that a category never 6.0%, seldom 24.0%, sometimes 43.7%, often 21.6% and always 4.8%, so that it showed that the incidence of bullying on boys dormitory in Adventist University of Indonesia are very low category with 44.9% of the value and type of bullying experienced by college students is a kind of verbal bullying with a value of 77.6% and the type of bullying experienced by college students is a type of physical bullying that is trodden under foot 39.5% verbal bullying that is 49.1% were reviled, emotional or relational bullying i.e. excommunicated 39.5% and cyberbullying i.e. your images uploaded as a joke 19.2%. These results indicate that this type of bullying experienced by the student boys dormitory is on the category are to physical bullying, verbal and emotional, while for cyberbullying are on the low category.
