ABSTRACT NURSING CARE PLAN IN CHILD N: HIRSCHSPRUNG'S POST PULL-THROUGH WITH PAIN MANAGEMENT IN PEDIATRIC WARD BANDUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL Laurel Novalen Lenzun NIM: 1753031 This scientific work is motivated by observations during nursing practice in the pediatric ward where there are patients with hirschsprung's medical diagnoses. Management of this disease can be done with several times surgery and pharmacology therapy in support of healing. So it can be ascertained that the patient will experience postoperative pain. The purpose of this scientific work is to provide information and increase knowledge about hirschsprung's disease, its management and postoperative pain management in children. The method used in the preparation of this scientific paper is descriptive method. Data collection techniques with literature study, case review during hospitalization, documenting the theories obtained and communicating with patients and families. From the results of nursing care given, found patients complain of pain with a scale of 6 (1-10). So the main nursing problem that arises is a painful sense of pain. The intervention provided is a relaxation technique with deep breathing exercise through blowing paper blades made from origami. Then maintain a comfortable position for the patient. Furthermore, collaboration in the administration of analgesics according to physician order with indication of pain is not reduced. Then monitor the incision area in the abdomen against signs of infection and change dressing with sterile technique once a day or if the bandage is moist or wet and the collaboration with the doctor in the administration of antibiotics.
