ABSTRACT PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS EDUCATES THE SPIRITUALITY OF CHILDREN IN THE FAMILY OF THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH PARONGPONG BANDUNG CHURCH BASED ON PROVERB 22: 6 Elyster Simanjuntak NIM: 1511030 The purpose of this research is to analyze the meaning of a counsel from King Solomon concerning educating young people on the path that is appropriate for him based on Proverbs 22: 6. With the intention of knowing the true meaning of the advice for parents who will educate children spiritually. The author uses five indicators to find an understanding of educating spiritual children in the family of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, namely; (1) Meaning of the word students based on Proverbs 22: 6 (2) The Meaning of the Right Way for Him (3) How to educate children's spirituality, (4) The cause of the child deviates from his faith even though he has received spiritual support from his parents in the family, and then continued (5) Parongpong members' understanding of the meaning of educating children spiritually based on Proverbs 22: 6. This research is divided into two parts, namely through theoretical research and field research. The results of theoretical research are obtained through literature study investigations. Whereas the results of field research through the distribution of research questionnaires with the aim of gaining an understanding of parongpong church members. Finally, through answers from 40 respondents, it was found that parongpong church members had a good understanding of the existing research. Thus, specifically this research can provide a better understanding to the members of the Parongpong church, as well as to the readers of this study. Keywords: Educating, Family, Modeling, Discipline
