One way to overcome the pain is with relaxation techniques, namely benson relaxation. Benson relaxation is a respiratory relaxation involving confidence factors. The purpose of this paper is to apply the theories that have been obtained in doing nursing care with the provision of benson relaxation in postpartum SC mother. The results of the study during the practice of postpartum SC mothers experienced acute pain. Nursing diagnosis that emerges is a painful comfort disorder acute pain. Interventions that have been done that is with the provision of benson relaxation. The evaluation showed a decrease in the intensity of pain after benson relaxation. It can be concluded that effective benson relaxation helps control pain. Suggestions for subsequent authors may use benson relaxation techniques in providing nursing care measures in patients with pain other than those caused by postpartum SC.
