Variables were studied to find out the correlation of nurse’s phlebitis knowledge in setting up intravenous infusion in Adventist hospital of Bandar Lampung in 2018. Data were collected by using pretest and posttest questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using paired t-test. The results showed that before and after seminar, scores for clinic nurse I were 8.7 (80%) with good knowledge and 9.43 (94%) with excellent knowledge. The results showed that before and after seminar, scores for clinic nurse II were 7.92 (79%) with good knowledge and 9.75 (97%) with perfect knowledge. The results showed that before and after seminar, scores for clinic nurse III were 7.97 (79%) with good knowledge and 9.23 (92%) with excellent knowledge. The results showed that before and after seminar, scores for clinic nurse IV were 8.2 (83%) with good knowledge and 9.47 (94%) with perfect knowledge. Paired t-test result showed that there was a significant difference of nurse’s knowledge concerning intravenous therapy before and after seminar for clinic nurse I to clinic nurse IV with p-value 0.000 < 0.05 where Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The researcher recommends nurses to improve their knowledge concerning intravenous therapy and to maintain their service qualities. Keywords: knowledge, intravenous therapy, infusion therapy
