STUDI FENOMENOLOGI: PERBEDAAN PENGETAHUAN TENTANG SEKS SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENYULUHAN SEKS PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

ABSTRACT Introduction: This study was conducted to provide counseling on prevention of sexual behavior towards college students. This research uses pre- experimental method with One Group Pre- Test and Post- Test Design. The sample was 45 college students from grade 1 to grade 4 with several faculty of Nursing, Management, Accounting, Education and IT. The instrument used is questionnaire 23 concerning true, untrue, and ignorant statements. The level of knowledge of college students before counseling is 49,63% (minus) and after counseling is 76,7% (good enough). There is a significant difference of knowledge before and after counseling to college students at Adventist University of Indonesia (p=<0, 05). Therefore an adviseable to counseling at Adventist University of Indonesia as input to gain insight into the knowledge of students in preventing risk sexual behavior. For the nursing community as an input material in providing sexual education to the students in an effort to prevent risk sexual behavior and perform nursing care by involving religious leaders, lecturer, peer groups and even parents.
