ABSTRACT RELATIONSHIP KNOWLEDGE OF BREAST SELF EXAMINATION (BSE) AGAINST BREAST IMPLEMENTATION APPLICATION BSE FOR DETECTION OF CANCER BREAST IN NURSING STUDENTS LEVELS IV IN UNAI Elisa Sabatini Simbolon NIM: 1451022 The most common cancer in women is breast cancer with an estimated 1.67 million or about 25% in 2012. Breast cancer can be prevented by breast self-examination. This study aims to analyze the relationship of knowledge of breast self-examination (breast self-examination) to breast self-examination application (breast selfexamination) for early detection of breast cancer at Adventis University of IndonesiaThe research design is descriptive correlative. Sampling using purposive sampling method. Data were collected using the BSE application observation questionnaire and the BSE knowledge questionnaire consisting of 10 questions. Data were analyzed using the percentage, mean, and pearson r correlation formula. The results showed that the knowledge level of BSE is more than enough with the percentage of 67% and the most frequent BSE sequence is the 5th grain and the BSE is the least frequently performed is point 9. The conclusion of this research is there is no correlation between knowledge of BSE BSE application for early detection of breast cancer. Suggestion of this research to improve health service by giving health promotion about BSE as early detection of breast cancer. Keywords: Breast Cancer, BSE Application Knowledge BSE
