ABSTRACT THE EFFECTS OF FIXED ASSETS INVESTMENT PROFITABILITY IN PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Tbk. By : Joshua Michael Ronald Sagala The purpose of this research was conducted to find out how fixed assets investments profitability exists, and to know the influence of fixed assets investment profitability on PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & amp; Trading Tbk, BANDUNG. In this research the methods of descriptive method is performed, where data are obtained by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data as well as give an overview about the research object to generate a conclusion. While the technical processing of data using statistical analysis, the analysis of the correlation, and to find out whether the hypothesis is accepted or rejected by using test hypotheses t. Based on the results of research investments fixed assets on PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry Tbk. from 2004-2012 are as follows: Rp 780.338.771.739, Rp 786.798.199.324, Rp 628790.208.401, Rp 765.807.423.073, Rp 766.344.567.479, Rp 808.903.387.439, Rp 941.931.552.988, Rp 1.069.735.963.102, Rp 979.511.601.619. And its profitability as follows: 0.34%, 0.36%, 1.18%, 2.22%, 17,67%, 3.53%, 5.34%, 4.56% and 14.60%. Based on the results of the statistical analysis that has been done, the authors note the correlation coefficient r = 0,221216931, this means the presence of a low influence between the variable X (INVESTMENT FIXED ASSETS) and the variable Y (PROFITABILITY). The magnitude of the coefficient of Determination = 4,89% whereas 95,11% are caused by factors other than this research. Test the hypothesis thitung = 24,417 and ttabel = 1,89458 then thitung > ttabel there are significant effects between fixed assets Investment and profitability and Ha is received. Thus it can be said that investment in fixed assets had a role in affecting the Profitability of the company at PT. Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Tbk.
