ABSTRACT "THE NURSING CARE FOR Mrs. S WITH THE SCHIZOPHRENIA: VISUAL HALLUCINATIONS IN GELATIK ROOM WEST JAVA PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL" Yanuar Pramana Nata NIM: 1452012 Mental health is an integral part of health and is a key element in supporting the realization of the quality of human life. Schizophrenia is one of the most common mental disorders found in Indonesia. Data obtained from the medical records of West Java Psychiatric Hospital in the intensive Gelatik room that five out of seven people suffer from schizophrenia with the causes of unpleasant past experiences, day dreaming and drug dropouts. Purpose of writing to know nursing care in a client Schizophrenia: this includes assessment of visual hallucination, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation of the nursing care given. The method used is case study method with data collection technique used interview, observation, library study, electronic media, and documentation study. The results achieved after four days of interaction were obtained by controlling hallucinations by hindering the hallucination, talking to others, doing scheduled activities and consuming medicine properly. The results of a one to four previous implementation strategy of clients experienced hallucinations two to three times a day to once per day. Through this activity the client is able to implement the implementation strategy that has been taught and executing the daily schedule in accordance with the time, the client's natural hallucinations reduced after the client practice controls hallucinations.
