ABSTRACT HEALTH PROMOTION HANDLING FEVER ON CHILDREN ON MOTHER KNOWLEDGE ABOUT HANDLING FEVER IN ROOFID KINDERGARDEN PARONGPONG DISTRICT 2018 Magdalena Risna ID: 1451072 This research is motivated by the results of the survey which found that the health promotion of handling fever in children's on the knowledge of mothers in each country varies greatly. Knowledge of different mothers will result in fever treatment in children is also different. This research was conducted to find out health promotion of handling fever in children on. The knowledge of mother in Roofid Kindergarten Mokla Village Parongpong Subdistrict. This research uses pre-experiment method with One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test Design. The sample used was 30 mothers in Roofid Kindergarten Mokla Village Parongpong District selected using saturated sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire containing 36 items of questions with multiple choice answers and correct or false. The results showed that there was a significant difference in knowledge of mother about handling fever in children in Roofid Mokla Bandung West Bandung before and after health promotion. This research is expected to become additional information about fever handling in children and used in further research development. Key word: Fever in Children, Health Promotion, Treatment of Fever
