ABSTRACT NURSING CARE TOWARDS Mr. R WITH INTERFERENCE OF ENDOKRIN SYSTEM: DIABETES MELITUS TYPE 2 IN ROOM INSPRIDE FLOOR 5 ADVENT HOSPITAL BANDUNG By: ADI SASTRO NAINGGOLAN NIM: 1552001 This Scientific Writing is based on the data obtained from the Department of Health. The number of diabetic patients in the hospital occupies the first position of all endocrine diseases. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), diabetes mellitus is most prevalent in developing countries including Indonesia.The purpose of this scientific paper is to apply nursing care of Mr. R with type 2 diabetes mellitus using an holistic care approach. The method used is the descriptive method by way of data collection through observation, interview, documentation, bibliography, and study of electronic media. After doing nursing care on Mr. R with diabetes mellitus. Seven nursing diagnoses were compiled: An Impaired sense of pain, Hipetermi, Impaired nutrition balance, excess fluid volume,fatigue,constipation and anxious. At the assessment stage it was found that the patient had edema in the extremeties and a Hb-A-1C examination was performed. After the authors performed the treatment for three days, from seven diagnoses there were four resolved diagnoses and three unresolved diagnoses. The diagnoses resolved were hipetermi and fewer nutritional disorders of the body needs. The unresolved diagnoses were pain/discomfort. Excess liquid volume,fatigue, constipation and anxious. The author can provide suggestion for the nurse to carry out the assessment which then formulates the diagnosis of nursing. The nurse should be able to perform nursing actions in accordance with predetermined plans and provide complete patient care with consideration of biopsycho-socio-spiritual aspects. And nurses should be able to evaluate the results of nursing actions that have been taken. Key word: Diabetic Mellitus
