ABSTRACT FACTORS INFLUENCING NON-COMPLIANCE OF HEMODIALYSIS PATIENTS IN LIMITING INTAKE OF FLUID INTER DIALYSIS IN BANDUNG ADVENTIST HOSPITAL Arranged by: Elly Asrina Lubis 1651087 Hemodialysis is a process to clean the blood for patients with kidney failure or people whose kidneys are not working normally. Patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy are generally less adherent in restricting fluid intake especially in activities at home or inter dialysis cause weight gain interdialisis moderate to severe ranges from 5-8%. Purpose of this study to determine the dominant and less dominant factors affecting noncompliance in hemodialysis patients restrict fluid intake during inter dialysis. The method used in this research is correlation method involving 25 respondents who meet the criteria for a sample. Collecting data using questionnaires with 58 questions that contain knowledge factors, attitude factors, family support factors, health personnel involvement factors, and non-compliance factors. Data processing uses SPSS with a percentage formula for assessing knowledge and non-adherence. The results of this study found that the dominant factors that affect the non-compliance of hemodialysis patients in limiting intake of fluid inter dialysis is attitude factor and family support. Less dominant factors affecting noncompliance hemodialysis patients in dialysis inter restrict fluid intake is a factor of knowledge and the involvement of health professionals. Noncompliance hemodialysis patients is influenced by attitude and family support while the knowledge and involvement of health workers has no effect. For further investigators to examine whether positive and negative experiences have an effect on adherence or adherence to hemodialysis. Keywords: Hemodialysis, Chronic Renal Failure
