KNOWLEDGE OF PEOPLE WHO ARE CONTACTED WITH TUBERCULOSISPATIENTS BEFORE AND AFTER AFTER HEALTH PROMOTION WITH LEAFLET MEDIA IN CIHANJUANG VILLAGE ABSTRACT Ade Trinita Sari P`akpahan NIM : 1551066 The knowledge of people who are in contact with Tuberculosis sufferers is still a lot less good, there are still many respondents who do not understand about Tuberculosis, based on the results of interviews conducted before the study, some respondents did not understand how the process of transmission of tuberculosis and ways to prevent tuberculosis. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of people who are contacted with Tuberculosis patients before and after health promotion with leaflet media in Cihanjuang Village. The research designthe researchers' use in the study was quasi experimental. Respondents in this study were 50 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire consisting of 20 question items. Data is calculated using the formula percentage formula paired t-test. The calculation results show that the percentage of knowledge of people who are in contact with the suffering of Tuberculosis before 62.2% in the category of knowledge is sufficient. The results of calculating the percentage value after being given health promotion as much as 97.1% in a very special category. The results also showed that there was a significant difference between the level of knowledge about Tubrulosis before and after health promotion with the media leaflet value of sig.
