ABSTRACT BLOOD PRESSURE COMPARATION SUFFERING GRADE HYPERTENSION, BASED ON POSITION:FLAT ON BED SEMIFOWLERAND FOWLER IN UNIVERSITY ADVENT INDONESIA BEFORE AND TIME COOLING DOMINGOS XIMENES NIM: 1151086 This research is motivated by a report from Pakpahan (2011) which states that there is influence of position of fowler and semifowler to blood pressure in hypertension patient. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of blood pressure measurement result with the position of flat on bed, semifowler, and fowler in patients with grade I hypertension before and while to wipe. The research design used in this research is experimental with analytic observation. Instruments used are digital sphygmomanometer, clock, and note sheet. The results obtained were blood pressure of hypertensive patients before rim based on flat on bed position was 131.97 /77.67 mmHg interpreted as Grade I hypertension, at semifowler position 126.98 / 75.93 mmHg interpreted as pre-hypertensive blood pressure, and fowler position 132.43 / 86.57 mmHg and interpreted as grade I hypertension. Blood pressure in patients with hypertension when mengeden based on flat on bed position is 134.67 / 87.18 mmHg interpreted as grade I blood pressure, at semifowler position 130.33 /87.87 mmHg interpreted as blood pressure grade I, and at position fowler 134.85 / 89.87 mmHg and interpreted as grade I hypertension. Advice to Nurses; in order to apply the positioning of semi-fowler position as a treatment to patients suffering from hypertension both hospitalized and at home, about the right position for people with hypertension.
