ABSTRACT Thesis Title : ANALYSIS OF GROWTH AT THE FIRST CENTURY CHURCH BASED ACTS 2:47IN SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH CLUSTER 2 – WEST JAVA CONFERENCE Researcher Name : James Sianipar Name and Title : Supervisor Material : DR. Bartholomew Diaz Nainggolan, MPS. End date : April, 2016 God is pleased with the growth of the first century church (church of the apostles). God's favor was declared as recorded in Acts 2:47 reads: “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. Said the growth of the base word "grow." In which means, “raised" (life) and the increase in size or perfect, or is being developed into a large increase, and at all. The growth of the church is not only okay, but it is the will and the favor of Almighty God, who has chosen Jesus the Great Commission as the core of the Bible, "Go ye therefore and make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19).The apostles had been using the strategy to carry out the mission of his church who are not decided arbitrarily or simply based on its position as an apostle, but he took advantage of the dignity and status as a tool in order to serve more effectively. Jesus has becomedisentangledthe implications of a ministryboth in teaching and in his way of life. And with the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every Christian would signify their invasion of the kingdom of God in this world means that Christians must live up to that fact. This means that the formation of the members of God's favor for the growth of the first century church, "... That is coaching in the congregation found to have gone well; to be maintained and even more improved.Thus there are 20.3% who disagree. Second, analysis of the variables X2, namely, the level of understanding of the members of God's favor for the growth of the first century church of the test results are known descriptive statistical average yield was 3.99 which is agreed or 79.8%. This means that the understanding of the members of God's favor for the growth of the first church, "... And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved" by Acts 2:47 In the Seventh-day Adventist Church Cluster 2 (two)West Java Conference, is going well. However, the statement number 14: "We understand that the power of a demon was under the authority of our church", got the answer score 3.49 (doubtful). This means that respondents are still undecided on the power of demons to be under the authority of the church (Christ in the church) because the phases in the power of Christ needed the experience of faith and not just an understanding. Therefore respondents require experience the power of Christ in his personal faith in God's favor for the growth of the church.Thus there are 20.1% who disagree. Third, analysis of the X3 that is, the level of implementation of the members of God's favor for the growth of the first church of the test results are known descriptive statistical average yield was 3.69 which is agreed or 73.8%. This means that the application of God's favor to the members of the first church growth, "... And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved" by Acts 2:47 In the Seventh-day Adventist Church Cluster 2 (two) West JavaConference, is going well. But in X3, there are two statements that received special attention, namely: 1. A statement of the number 24 found the score 3:48 (hesitating): "I always bring others into the church to have a personal relationship with Christ,"meaning respondents on execution stage (bring) souls into congregation experienced hesitation. 2. Fourth, In the variable Y Competence Development, understanding and application of God's favor to the members of the first century church growth, "... And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved " by Acts 2:47 In the Seventh-day Adventist Church Cluster 2 (two) West Java Conference, as the total score of the average answer was 3.86 which is agreed or 77.2%. Thus in totality there are 26.8% who disagree.
