ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF NET PROFIT MARGIN ON STOCK PRICES IN BASIC INDUSTRY AND CHEMICAL SUB COMPANIES CEMENT SECTORS REGISTERED ON THE IDX Written By: Hizkia Babtison NIM: 1532204 This study aims to determine how the Net Profit Margin in the Cement Sector Basic and Chemical Industry Companies from 2014 - 2017. To find out how the Stock Prices of the Basic Industry and Chemical Companies in the Cement Sub Sector from 2014 - 2017. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, with data processing techniques using statistical analysis, namely analysis of the correlation coefficient, significance test (t-test), the coefficient of determination, linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variable X (Net Profit Margin) has a significant effect on the variable Y (Share price) in the Basic Cement Industry and Chemical Industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 - 2017.
