ABSTRACT Thesis Title : ANALYSIS SPIRITUAL JOSEPH RESEARCH OF COMPETENCE BASED ON THE BOOK OF GENESIS 37-50 TO STUDENTS junior-high SDA School LAU RAKIT WEST KARO DISTRICT Researcher Name: Duyun Sembiring Name and Title : M. Fil. Supervisor : Dr. B.D. Nainggolan N., MPS End Date : ____March 2016 In accordance with the vision, mission junior-high school Advent Lau Rakit it appears the question, how is Mental, Physical, spiritual, social and junior-high school student Lau Rakit today? Do young people have ready-to face the future with a blessing to many people? Become pillars of the church and the next generation of country and nation to build a strong society in the face of negative influences such as drugs, Crime, immorality, gambling and so that damage and destroy communities and nations? To what extent are students / i junior-high Advent Lau Rakit implementing the lives of biblical characters, such as Joseph in the past recorded in the Bible? The purpose of this study is as follows: First, To find out how high the level of junior-high school students' understanding Advent on spirituality Joseph Lau Rakit based on the book of Genesis chapter 37-50?. Second, To determine the indicators are the dominant form junior-high school students' understanding Lau Rakit Advent spirituality, of Joseph by Genesis chapter 37-50? Third, To determine whether the dominant background in contributing to the formation of spiritual competence of junior-high school students Advent Lau Rakit based Genesis 37-50? The analysis conducted in this study are: 1. description of data, 2. validity Test 3. reliability test, 4. normality test, 5. linearity test, 6. hypothesis test, and 7. descriptive statistics. The conclusion of this study are: There is a relationship between the Kind, Responsible, integrity, and competence Wish to God to the study of spiritual competence Yusuf based on Genesis chapters 37-50 of junior-high school students Advent Lau Rakit Karo District West. From the results of the overall study respondents almost have the results mediocre on the analysis of spiritual competence of Joseph by Genesis chapters 37-50 on junior-high school students Advent Lau Rakit West Karo District is 3.84 with a 5.00 scale , Background junior-high school students Advent Lau Rakit dominant contributing to the formation of their spiritual competency based Genesis 37-50. Special religious background, the average of respondents who are the best answer Advent has the result (3.85) in comparison with respondents who are non SDA (3:52) Respondents who are not actively worship are average students who do not have the spiritual competence of Joseph because the students are not afraid to violate regulatory guidelines campus life because students are not afraid of and respect for the teacher, because the law often does not run. Respondents who have student assessment against unfavorable Discipline is an easy student violates school rules guidelines that have been set forth in the rule book and Foundation for SMP-SMA Advent Lau Rakit include theft, fights, off campus without permission. Thus there are strong indications that some junior-high school students Advent Lau Rakit, lack or imply spiritual competence Yusuf in terms of kindness or self-control.
