THE EFFECT OF OPERATIONAL AUDIT OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS TOWARDS IMPROVING OF PRODUCT’S QUALITY IN PT. TAKA PRECISION MANUFACTURING INDONESIA Written by : Ika Indrayani NIM: 1432076 This research has aimed to find out how the implementation of operational audit of production processes, efforts to improve product quality, and the influence operational audit of production processes on product quality improvement in PT. Taka Precision Manufacturing Indonesia. The method has been used in conducting this research is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires distributed to the 32 respondents. The data of the questionnaires in the form of ordinal scale data is converted into interval scale data by using MSI (Method Succesive Interval). Data that has been converted into interval scale data is processed by statistical analysis of pearson product moment through correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, hypothesis test and simple linear regression analysis. Result of the research influence of operational audit of production process to improvement of product quality can be seen from result of statistic calculation below, that is correlation coefficient analysis obtained r equal to 0,726 means that there is strong relation between operational audit of production process to improve of product quality. Based on the calculation of coefficient of determination (KD) shows that there is a contibution of operational audit of production process towards product quality improvement of 52.80% while the remaining 47.20% influenced by other factors outside the study. Supported by hypothesis test that has been done is obtained level of significance equal to 0,00 (<0.05) so that statement H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning there is an influence of operational audit of production process to improve of product quality.
