ABSTRACT THE IMPACT OF THE WORKING CAPITAL TO NET PROFIT MARGIN IN PT. MITRA ADIPERKASA Written by: Andrew Halomoan Tambunan NIM: 1432041 This study aims to examine the effect of working capital turnover on net profit margin in retail companies in the retail trade sub-sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Independent variable in this research is working capital turnover, while for dependent variable is net profit margin. The sample of this research consist of data of financial statements for 10 years. Financial statement data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The research method used is a causal explanatory method with simple linear regression analysis technique with SPSS version 22 software tool (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). The results of this study indicate that the turnover of working capital has no effect on net profit margin (0.071> 0.05). Keywords: working capital turnover, net profit margin
