ABSTRACT Thesis Title : ANALYSIS EFFECT OF MISSIONARY PASTOR VISITS IN THE REGION XI CONFERENCE JAKARTA AND VIEWED BY PSALM 23: 1-4 Researcher Name : Piten H. Sinaga Material Supervisor : Dr. Bartholomeus Diaz N., MPS Completion Date : April 24, 2015 The presence of a priest as pastor of the church in the church is to serve God's people as sheep pasture to be grazed well. Services pastor can not be denied is a beautiful noble task and challenging because they serve diverse temperaments of members of the congregation that needed attention, commitment and love for them. Based on his writings in Psalm 23: 1-4, David said that God is as a good shepherd, who serve and satisfy all the needs of his sheep, so the herds feel affection and fulfilled every need. The visit of a priest as pastor of the church is absolutely expected for the success of the service the pastor. If the pastor is not a visit in his ministry and in his life, then it becomes pastor shepherd who failed in serving the members of his congregation. Authors interested in conducting research on the visit of a shepherd to determine the effect of the visit to evangelism in the church. One task of the good shepherd imitate God-given duty to his flock as the testimony of David in the book of Psalms 23: 1-4. Respondents were surveyed by the authors are members of the church the Seventh-day Adventist Church XI Regional Conference Jakarta Special Region Special Area numbering 10 congregations with 200 respondents. The study authors conducted a survey to members of the congregation of Seventh-day Adventist Church region XI Conference Jakarta Special Region Special Area in order to determine how evangelism progress achieved through the visit of a good shepherd. Theological analysis in this study is divided into two parts: First: Analysis of the influence of the visit of a good shepherd is based on Psalm 23: 1-4 to meet the needs of the church in the XI Conference Jakarta Special Region Special Area. Second: Analysis of the influence of the evangelical visit to boost growth both in quantity and quality of the churches in the XI Conference Jakarta Special Region Special Area. The author expects that the benefits of this research may provide benefits for many parties, especially pastors, leaders of church organizations that employ priests, and members of the congregation served by pastors. First, the practical benefits of this research for researchers as pastor of the church, in order to focus on improving the performance of services, especially grazing and evangelism. Secondly, as an input to the leadership of the church organizations that employ the pastor in the organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (Seventh-day Adventists), so that through debriefing seminars, training and advice in person to the pastor of the church the importance of doing pastoral and evangelistic well , Third, the high school institutions that educate pastors academically, in order to provide lessons and learning activities about the importance of a minister to focus on pastoral ministry and evangelism. Total average each indicator gives the average of respondents agreed that the visit of a good shepherd will meet the needs of the congregation and to increase evangelism in the churches in the XI Conference Jakarta Special Region Special Area. It’s important authors suggest that the shepherds diligently visited and visiting congregations to fulfill the longing and meet the needs and improve the evangelical congregation in the church. Conclusions given in this study is the first, the church members are always longing to evangelism statement contained in the item number (26) with a total average score of 4.6636 which visits are the best means of evangelism. Second, personal relationships affect shepherd member involvement in evangelism. No statement contained in the item number (22) with a total average score of 2.4636. With Him who is the Lord as an example of the Good Shepherd, will meet the need of His servants.
