ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF SOLVENCY ON PROFITABILITY IN INSURANCE SUB SECTOR COMPANIES THAT LISTED ON INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE PERIOD 2016-2018 Written by: Kevin Nathanael Hutagalung NIM: 1632041 This study aims to determine the effect of solvency profitability insurance sub-sector companies that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-. This research was conducted using causal associative statistical methods, correlation coefficient analysis, determination test, significance test, classic assumption test and regression analysis. The data for this study is from the annual financial statements of the insurance sub-sector companies that have been published. The secondary data will be processed using SPSS, then concluded. The results of this research analysis are audit solvency have a significant effect on profitability with a significant value of 0.00 <0.05. Keywords: solvency, profitability
