ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE ON STOCK RETURNS OF HOUSEHOLD EQUIPMENT SUB-SECTOR COMPANIES IN INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE Written By: Khatrina Erlani NIM. 1531024 This study aims to find out the effect of financial Performance on Stock Return of of Household Equipment Sub Sector companies at the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the results of the statistical analysis conducted by the author, the descriptive analysis in this study shows the increase and decrease of ROE and the state of fluctuating Stock Returns every year. This shows that for each company studied there is no ROE or Stock Return that increases from year to year Correlation coefficient (r) = 0.333 means that the relationship between Financial Performance and Stock Return is low, and if seen from a significant test ρ (0.323)> ∝ (0.05 ) It means that there is no significant effect, and Kd = 0.139 means that the ROE contribution to Stock Return is 13.9% and the remaining 86.1% is influenced by other factors, excluding this research. From the simple regression analysis Y = -0.067 + 1.480X means that without ROE, stock returns are minus 0.067 with increasing ROE 1 unit so Stock Returns will increase by 1.480 units meaning that there is an effect but not significant because the level of doubt is above 0.05.
